
Annual Back-to-School Immunization Fair
Get your shots with your stripes.
On Wed., Aug. 27th, the New York Yankees and Lincoln Hospital will host the eighth year of their collaborative “Back-to-School Immunization Fair” at Yankee Stadium in the FedEx Banquet and Conference Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Vaccinations to be offered include tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough, and hepatitis. The flu vaccine will also be available. The Lincoln Medical Center and the New York Yankees partnership seeks to promote awareness of childhood disease and the importance of timely vaccinations.
“We continue to work to ensure that every child is immunized and protected against preventable childhood diseases,” said Milton Núñez, Executive Director of Lincoln Medical Center. “This venture with the New York Yankees is invaluable to us.”
Please note the following requirements for those interested in having their children vaccinated.
· All children must be accompanied by an adult.
· The following documents must be presented.
1. Proof of guardianship
2. NYS photo i.d. and child’s birth certificate
3. Immunization card
4. Proof of address
5. Medical health insurance card, if you have one.
The vaccinations will be administered in Yankee Stadium’s FedEx Banquet and Conference Center (Enter at Gate 6 located on the corner of River Avenue and 161st Street).
