Heart Papermaking Enjoy a Valentine’s Day themed family art project at Wave Hill on Sun., Feb. 14th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Visit the colorful blooms in the Tropical House and breathe in the fragrance of greenhouse flowers, all while keeping a special eye out for heart-shaped leaves. With the help of visiting artist and papermaker Randy Brozen, use paper pulp to embed a heart shape into lacy, handmade paper and decorate it with ribbons and rosebuds for Valentine’s Day remembrances and cards. Valentine’s Day Chamber Music Visit Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum on Sun., Feb. 14th from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. for a Winter Chamber Music Concert. The Rivertown String Quartet will perform a wonderful one-hour program of romantic classical music, including pieces by Schubert, Beethoven, and Ginastera—perfect for Valentine’s Day.
