The Rebels’ Cause
Tune in to a panel discussion and community mixer that will focus on the importance of the Latino vote in the 2016 elections. What are the issues highlighted by all candidates? What aren’t they discussing? What should we all consider before voting?
These and many other questions will be explored by a panel of experts, attendees and online audience in an enlightening, fun and engaging town hall discussion.
The dialogue will be moderated by Julio Ricardo Varela, from NPR’s Latino USA and the founder of news source Latino Rebels and will include, among others, Sandra Lilley, Editor of NBC Latino; Luis A. Miranda, Founding Partner of the MirRam Group; actress Laura Gómez, of Orange Is The New Black; and actor J.W. Cortes, of the show Gotham.
