Bronx Writers Group
Head to the Bronx Library Center on Sun., Dec. 22nd and join the Bronx Writers Group (BWG). The group is for anyone interested in developing writing skills, attending writing workshops, and networking with other writers in the Bronx. All skill levels are welcome. The aim is to create a space in which writers feel supported in their writing projects by other writers; where they can focus on their work without distractions and interruptions; and network with other organizations to foster a writing community. The Bronx Library Center is located at 310 East Kingsbridge Road.

Wellness Workshop
On Sat., Jan. 7th at 1:00 p.m., join Sara Hart from iHart Lens for an introduction to the “Eight Limbs of Yoga.” This interactive workshop includes an overview of the eightfold practice, including pranayama (breathing techniques), asana (yoga poses), and dhyana (meditation). Engage in a conversation about how these elements can enhance both your yoga practice and your everyday life. Ultimate Dodgeball
On Mon., Dec. 23rd at 1:00 p.m. all youths between the ages of 12 and 17 years are invited to compete in the Ultimate Dodgeball Family Tournament. The Hunts Point Recreation Center is hosting this event to offer fun options during the holidays. Finals will be held on December 31st. Come with friends and family and test your agility, endurance and accuracy while playing this fast paced sport. This event is free and open to the public. Yamato: The Drummers of Japan
On Sun., Jan. 18th, Yamato, the Drummers of Japan, come to the Lehman Center with their thrilling, high-energy and explosive interpretation of a centuries old Taiko tradition with a new production titled, Jhonetsu – Passion. This past season marked Yamato’s 25th anniversary, celebrating over 3,500 performances in 54 countries, bringing their spectacular drumming enthusiasm to over 8 million fans young and old. The Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is located at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West.

Grupo de escritores del Bronx
Diríjase al Centro Bibliotecario del Bronx Center el domingo 22 de diciembre y únase al Grupo de Escritores del Bronx (BWG, por sus siglas en inglés). Ultimate Dodgeball

La temporada pasada marcó el 25 aniversario de Yamato, celebrando más de 3,500 presentaciones en 54 países, llevando su espectacular entusiasmo del tambor a más de 8 millones de fanáticos jóvenes y mayores.
