Bronx Arts Ensemble Holiday Concert
The Bronx Arts Ensemble and Singers present a holiday concert with music for St. Nicholas on Sat., Dec.11th and Sun., Dec. 12th. The concert is free, but space is limited and tickets are required. The event will take place at Bartow-Pell Mansion located at 895 Shore Road, Pelham Bay Park.

Migguel Anggelo Performance
On Sat., Nov. 22nd from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Venezuelan-born Migguel Anggelo brings his stage performance to the Bronx Library Center.
Migguel began his career at age 13, performing in such acclaimed, touring South American productions as Pinocchio, Romeo and Juliet and Fame, concurrently training for eleven years in classic ballet and studying opera at the Conservatory of Music in Cologne, Germany. A singer and storyteller whose music is saturated with Latin American art, culture, poetry and metaphor, Migguel strives to blur the boundaries between performance art and popular music. He will perform works by Latin American greats like Agustin Lara and Astor Piazzolla, as well as American pop, jazz and opera standards that he recasts in his own signature style. He will also showcase material from his forthcoming album, La Casa Azul.
The Bronx Library Center is located at 310 East Kingsbridge Road. The performance is free.

Annual Kwanzaa Celebration
The entire family is invited to join in a cultural event featuring Batoto Yetu. The performance group shares insights on African heritage with music, dance, and folklore from Angola and the Congo as well as other regions. This Annual Kwanzaa Celebration will take place on Thurs., Dec. 11th at 7:00 p.m. at the Hostos Center for Arts and Culture located at 450 Grand Concourse.

The Holiday Train Show
The 23rd Annual Holiday Train Show is currently being held at the New York Botanical Garden and will run until Mon., Jan. 19th. Inside the Haupt Conservatory, step into a city in miniature featuring more than 150 iconic buildings, all re-created with bark, leaves, and other natural materials. G-scale trains will hum along familiar sights such as the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, and Rockefeller Center. The track is a quarter-mile long. The Artist’s Studio showcases how visionary artist Paul Busse and his team craft these small icons wonders.

Concierto Navideño Del Conjunto de Artes del Bronx
El Conjunto de Artes y Cantantes del Bronx presenta un concierto navideño con música para St. Nicholas el sábado, 11 de diciembre y el domingo, 12 de diciembre. Presentación de Migguel Anggelo
El sábado, 22 de noviembre de 2:30 p.m. a 3:00 p.m., Migguel Anggelo, de origen venezolano lleva su presentación al Centro Bibliotecario del Bronx.
Migguel comenzó su carrera a la edad de 13, presentaciones en aclamadas producciones tales como Pinocho, Romeo y Julieta y Fama, entrenando simultáneamente por once años en el ballet clásico y estudiando opera en el Conservatorio de Música en Cologne, Alemania. Cantante y narrador cuya música está saturada de arte latinoamericana, cultura, poesía y metáforas, Migguel se esfuerza por difuminar los límites entre presentaciones de arte y música popular. Realizará trabajos de grandes latinoamericanos como Agustín Lara y Astor Piazolla, como también pop, jazz americano y opera que rehace en su propio estilo. También presentará material de su próximo álbum, La Casa Azul.

El Espectáculo Navideño del Tren
El Espectáculo Anual #23 de Trenes actualmente se está llevando a cabo en el Jardín Botánico de Nueva York y estará ahí hasta el lunes, 19 de enero. Dentro del Conservatorio Haupt, entre a una ciudad en miniatura presentando más de 150 edificios famosos, todos recreados con cortezas, hojas y otros materiales naturales. Los trenes en escala G zumbarán a lo largo de lugares familiares tales como el Puente Bridge, la Estatua de la Libertad y el Centro Rockefeller. Las vías son de un cuarto de milla de largo. El estudio del artista presenta como el visionario artista Paul Busse y su equipo crearon estas pequeñas maravillas.
