The Music Man

Follow The Music Man at Riverdale Y on Sat., Nov. 10^th from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. When Harold Hill, a traveling con man, arrives in River City, he conspires to take the locals’ money and flee. Librarian Marian Paroo suspects Harold, but holds her tongue since her moody brother, Winthrop, is finally excited. As Harold begins to develop feelings for Marian, he faces the difficult decision of whether to execute his plan. Will he go through with it? The center is located at 5625 Arlington Avenue.

Hip-Hop & Jazz

Stay in tune at St. Mary’s Recreation Center on Tues., Oct. 30^th from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Youngsters will learn the fundamentals of hip-hop including popping and locking, footwork, hand gestures, body flow and rhythm. Tour de Bronx

Ride through the Bronx on Sun., Oct. 28^th from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Choose one of two rides – either the 25-mile southern route or the 40-mile northern route – and cycle through the burgeoning neighborhoods, scenic waterfronts and greenways of the borough.
