Join fellow cyclists on Sun., Sept 18th for a tour of the Bronx River at 10:00 a.m. The tour will take place on the 17-mile-long Bronx River Greenway. The ride will be approximately three hours long and cyclists will have a chance to learn about the history of the city’s only true freshwater river. From being a source of drinking water in the 1800’s to being mistreated for years and then emerging as a revitalized body of water, the river has a rich history.
