Spring will be in full force during the Annual Plant Sale at the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum on Sat., May 20th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Be inspired by the gardens of the mansion. Get your rowing on at Van Cortlandt Park on Sun., Jun. 4th from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Urban Park Rangers will lead guests on canoe adventures ranging from the gentle waters of protected lakes, to the challenging open waters of rivers and bays. Rangers will educate attendees on the ethics of fishing and the ecology of New York City’s waterways; seining programs use nets to catch fish. All equipment will be provided.
