Look Book
Consider what immigration looks like at the Bronx Documentary Center on Sat., May 12th at 7:00 p.m. with the launch of John Moore’s new book Undocumented. Moore, a Getty Images special correspondent, focuses on the issues of immigration in the United States, including immigrants on all points of their journey, ICE agents, Border Patrol agents, dozens of NGOs, and others in the U.S. and abroad. Family Art Project
Connect with Mother Earth and your mother too at Wave Hill House on Sun., May 13th from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Bring special mementos, notes and photos of someone special you wish to acknowledge this weekend. During the workshop, you will earn about Pachamama, an indigenous Andean goddess who practices ecological moderation. Then get to work on a special painting with pop-out elements as a gift to your chosen goddess. The house is located at West 249th Street and Independence Avenue.

A Tropical Take
