Celebrate Bobby Valentín, El Rey del Bajo, at Lehman Center on Sat., Apr. 28th at 8:00 p.m. The 50th anniversary of the musical career of Bobby Valentín, who helped compose many of Fania All Star’s classics and worked with salsa legends like Gilberto Santa Rosa and Tito Puente, has created many classics of his own. Revisit classics like “Libro de Amor,” and “Buen Corazón.” The center is located at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard.

Dioramas and 3D Art
Bring in April showers at the Poe Park Visitor Center on Tues., May 1st from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Create miniature art as a family within this month’s theme of rain. Let it drizzle or make it pour with the provided supplies to construct a world filled with rain. The event repeats every Tuesday until June 26th. The center is located at 2640 Grand Concourse.

Enter the fantastic musical tale at the Whitehall Club Ballroom on Sun., Apr. 29th from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. The story follows a Bronx girl who is tired of her violin lessons because she thinks she has more important things to do. Join Jasmine as she takes a wild journey through time visiting landmarks throughout the Bronx. The ballroom is located at 3333 Henry Hudson Parkway.

You decide at the Riverdale Y on Sat., May 5th from 9:15 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. The award-winning Riverdale Rising Stars present a whodunit based on the final and unfinished Charles Dickens novel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
