The Bronx Documentary Center is hosting a screening of Los Sures on Sat., Feb. 18th from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Directed by Diego Echeverria, the documentary focuses on the community of Puerto Rican and Dominican families living in South Williamsburg, known as “Los Sures.” The film, shot in the early 1980’s on 16 mm film, brings back the now gentrified neighborhood through the eyes of five different residents.
