You’ll have to do more than pray.
Those wanting to catch a glimpse of Pope Francis during his Central Park processional on Fri., Sept. 25th will now be able to enter a lottery conducted by the city.
In anticipation of the Pope’s first visit to New York, thousands of tickets will be distributed for residents to witness the historic procession. The Catholic pontiff will travel along the park’s West Drive from West 60th through 72nd Street. During his visit to the city, the Pope will also visit an East Harlem school and celebrate Mass at Madison Square Garden.
The contest is open to all New York State residents, who can enter to receive two (2) tickets. Entrants will be randomly selected. The contest will open on September 3rd and close on September 7th.

Aquellos que quieran echar un vistazo al papa Francisco durante su procesión en Central Park el viernes 25 de septiembre, podrán entrar un sorteo realizado por la ciudad.
A la espera de la primera visita del papa a Nueva York, miles de boletos serán distribuidos a los residentes para presenciar la histórica procesión. El pontífice católico viajará a lo largo de West Drive del parque, de la calle 60 oeste hasta la calle 72. Durante su visita a la ciudad, el papa también visitará una escuela East Harlem y celebrará misa en el Madison Square Garden.
El concurso está abierto a todos los residentes del estado de Nueva York y pueden participar para recibir dos (2) boletos. Los ganadores serán seleccionados al azar. El concurso se abrirá el 3 de septiembre y finalizará el 7 del mismo mes.
