Our months of Tertulias, Lobbying and Love are paying off.
Today, Tues., Jun. 12th, S. 744, the bipartisan immigration bill, will be introduced to the full Senate for debate, amendment and could be voted on sometime very soon.
Now is the time. Dial 888-891-3271 to connect with your Senator to tell them that you support reform that includes a path to citizenship and that keeps families together. Remind them that your principles are the same as a majority of Americans.
Here at La Fuente, we have worked ceaselessly with our members and allies to make it clear that when it comes to immigration reform, all you need is love… and action! In our communities, we have kept people informed and up to date about progress.
And, because the majority of people want common sense immigration reform, we have expressed our love for our legislators in their efforts to pass a bill that includes a path to citizenship and that keeps families together.
