New musculoskeletal center at Montefiore
Montefiore Health System has unveiled a new musculoskeletal center on its Hutchinson Campus.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 11 featured hospital leadership and City Councilmember Mark Gjonaj.
Musculoskeletal diseases such as trauma, back pain and arthritis affect more than 50 percent of people aged 18 and over in the U.S. and nearly 75 percent of those aged 65 and over.
The Montefiore Musculoskeletal Center seeks to offer a patient-centered approach and individualized care. The center brings together programs from Montefiore Center for Orthopaedic Specialties’ Outpatient Joint Center; Montefiore Spine Center; and Burke Rehabilitation Hospital’s Outpatient Physical Therapy Program.
