MTA Service on Fourth of July
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has announced service details for the Fourth of July holiday.
New York City Subway
On Friday, July 3, subways will operate on a Saturday schedule. There will be no 5 train service south of E 180 Street; 1 service is suspended between 14 St and South Ferry; 23 trains run local between 34 St-Penn Station and Chambers St. Customers are encouraged to use the Bowling Green 4 and Fulton St 234AC stations, or buses between Chambers St and South Ferry. There will be increased subway service on the 4, 7, A, C, F, and S 42nd Street Shuttle prior to and following the Macy’s fireworks celebration, which will originate from five barges on the East River: four between 23rd and 37th Streets, and one south of the Brooklyn Bridge at Pier 19 (near John Street) from 9:20 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

Buses operated by MTA New York City Transit and the MTA Bus Company will operate on a Saturday schedule on Friday, July 3. There are many routes that either do not operate on Saturdays or do not run on part of the route at certain hours. Customers traveling on the Fourth of July should check Saturday schedules, lines and routes. The following bus routes may be affected by delays and detours: M5; M8; M9; M14 A/D; M15 SBS; M20; M21; M22; M31; M34 SBS; M42; M50; M57; M103; M104; B6; B24; B25; B32; B61; B62; B63; B67; B69; B103; Q32; Q59; Q60; Q101; Q103.

La Autoridad Metropolitana de Transporte (MTA por sus siglas en inglés) ha anunciado los detalles del servicio por las fiestas del cuatro de julio
Metros de la ciudad de Nueva York
El viernes 3 de julio el metro funcionará con horario de sábado. No habrá servicio del tren 5 al sur de la calle 180 este; el servicio 1 será suspendido entre la calle 14 y South Ferry; 23 trenes irán entre la estación 34 St-Penn y la calle Chambers. Se recomienda a los clientes usar las estaciones Bowling Green 4 y las de la calle Fulton 234AC, o los autobuses entre la calle Chambers y South Ferry. Habrá un aumento en el servicio de metro en 4, 7, A, C, F y S calle 42 antes y después de la celebración de los fuegos artificiales de Macy’s, que se originan a partir de cinco barcazas en el East River: cuatro entre las calles 23 y 37, y una en el sur del puente de Brooklyn en el muelle 19 (cerca de la calle John) de 9:20 pm a 9:45 pm.
