Linking up with MMCC
The classic was a hit.
This past Mon., June 16th the Moshulu Montefiore Community Center (MMCC) raised over $38,000 at its First Annual Golf Classic.
“The Annual Golf Classic is a great way to introduce the greater community to the mission of MMCC while raising necessary funds to support our programs and services for the Bronx community,” said MMCC Development Director Laurie Bandremer.
The Golf Classic, presented by Lawrence Benenson, included a full day of activity, including breakfast, lunch on the course, a cocktail hour, raffle drawing and live auction during dinner. Competitive golfers and others took to the 18-hole greens at Paramount Country Club.
The event is a new annual fundraising format for MMCC, looking to raise funds to promote and support all MMCC educational programs, summer camps, and its Child Development Center and Senior Center.

El clásico fue un éxito.
Este pasado lunes 16 de junio el centro comunitario Moshulu Montefiore (MMCC por sus siglas en inglés) recaudó más de $38,000 dólares en su primer clásico anual de golf.
“El clásico anual de golf es una gran manera de introducir a la comunidad en general a la misión de MMCC, mientras que recaudamos los fondos necesarios para apoyar nuestros programas y servicios para la comunidad del Bronx”, dijo la directora de desarrollo de MMCC, Laurie Bandremer.
El clásico de golf, presentado por Lawrence Benenson, incluyó un día lleno de actividad, incluyendo desayuno, almuerzo en el campo, una hora de cocteles, rifa y subasta en vivo durante la cena. Golfistas competitivos y otros tomaron a los 18 hoyos en el Paramount Country Club.
