During the monthly 42nd Precinct Community Council meeting on Thurs., Apr. 28th, New York Police Department (NYPD) Officer Erica Bukowiecki (left) was honored by the department and the Bronx Borough President’s office for years of hard work and dedication in building relationships in the community. Coincidentally, April 28 also marked the “Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day, prompting Erica to bring her mother Irene Estrada-Rukaj and Rukaj’s granddaughter and fellow NYPD Cadet Amber Pagan to the 42nd Precinct where the award presentation was held.Bellas de azul
Durante la reunión mensual del Consejo Comunitario del Precinto 42 el jueves 28 de abril, la oficial del Departamento de Policía de Nueva York (NYPD por sus siglas en inglés) Érica Bukowiecki (izquierda) fue honrada por el departamento y la oficina del presidente del condado del Bronx por años de trabajo duro y dedicación en la construcción de relaciones con la comunidad. Coincidentemente, el 28 de abril también fue el Día de “traer sus hijas e hijos al Trabajo”, por lo que Érica llevó a su madre Irene Estrada-Rukaj y la nieta de Rukaj y su compañera cadete del NYPD Amber Pagan al Precinto 42° donde se celebró la entrega de premios.
